What to expect from BOOS 2027

The British Orthopaedic Oncology Society (BOOS) annual conference plays a pivotal role in advancing the field of orthopaedic oncology in the United Kingdom. Day One: Leaders in Metastatic Disease Day
A dedicated day bringing together experts involved in the management of metastatic bone disease to share current thinking, experience and best practice. Delegates can expect expert-led presentations, multidisciplinary discussion and practical insights into the challenges of assessing and managing patients with metastatic disease

Day Two: BOOS Annual Meeting
The main BOOS Annual Conference brings together professionals working across orthopaedic oncology for a day of shared learning, discussion and collaboration. Delegates can expect a varied programme exploring current practice, developments and challenges across the specialty, with expert presentations, clinical discussion and opportunities to share knowledge and experience with colleagues from across the field.

Conference Dinner - Merchant House

The BOOS Conference Dinner promises to be a brilliant evening of Scottish hospitality, good food and plenty of entertainment. Taking place at the beautiful Merchant House, the evening will feature a live ceilidh band, bringing everyone together for a night of music and dancing. Whether you’re a seasoned ceilidh dancer or have never tried it before, you’ll be encouraged to get involved, with plenty of fun guaranteed. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some downtime with the BOOS community and experience a real taste of Scotland. The dinner will take place on Thursday 10th June.

Accommodation is not included in your conference ticket. The Grand Central Hotel Glasgow will be offered preferential rates for rooms at the venue and there are a number of alternative options located close by. More details coming soon.
